As-Is Condition

Definition: A property being sold in its current state, with no repairs or improvements made by the seller.
Explanation: Buyers are responsible for any needed repairs. However, they can still request an inspection to evaluate the home’s condition before finalizing the purchase.
Example: A seller lists a home “as-is” because the roof needs repairs. The buyer can either accept the condition or negotiate the price accordingly.
